3. Connect your school
Schuly doesn't ship with a fixed list of schools. It loads the current list when you reach this screen, so you just pick yours - there's nothing to type in or set up by hand.
Step 1 - Pick your school system
Choose your school / system from the list Schuly shows you. This list is loaded live, so new schools can appear without an app update.
Step 2 - Sign in
What you see next depends on the mode you chose:
If you picked Account mode
You'll be taken to the Schuly login. New here? The app takes you straight to sign-up, and creating an account is quick - just a username, email and password (no name fields). Sign in (or sign up), and that's it - Schuly connects your school to your account and keeps your data in sync.
If you picked Private mode
Schuly shows a connect screen with the login fields your school needs (for example a username/email and password, and a one-time code if your school uses two-factor). The exact fields are provided by your school system, so you only ever see what's relevant.
- Your school login is saved only in your phone's secure storage - it is never sent to Schuly and never stored on its servers.
- If your school asks for a one-time code, Schuly can generate it on your phone from the Authenticator screen after setup.
- When your school signs you out, Schuly quietly signs back in with the login saved on your phone, so you stay connected.
Switching schools or modes later
You can connect a different school, or switch between Account and Private mode, from the app's settings at any time.
Connected? Time to explore your data.
